Polyphenols
Polyphenols are natural compounds found in plants, known for their antioxidant properties. They protect cells in our body from damage caused by free radicals – unstable molecules produced naturally by the body or triggered by factors like stress, pollution, or tobacco, which can harm our cells. Polyphenols can help reduce inflammation and lower the risk of chronic diseases. They are found in foods such as fruits, vegetables, tea, coffee, red wine, and dark chocolate.
