When you see this term on your prescription, it means that you must meet with a sleep respirologist (pulmonologist) who will perform a clinical and physical assessment. This specialist can identify your risk of sleep apnea and determine the appropriate test to obtain an accurate diagnosis. The meeting can be held at a Biron clinic and is covered by the Régie de l’assurance maladie du Québec.
