Imagix Chomedey acquires new equipment

Since November 20, the Imagix clinic at 610 Curé-Labelle Boulevard in Chomedey, Laval, has been equipped with new state-of-the-art mammography and bone densitometry equipment.

A screening mammogram, for healthy women with no breast abnormalities, is available free of charge through the Québec Breast Cancer Screening Program. A diagnostic mammogram is also available.

Bone densitometry measures the density of bones and determines whether a patient has osteoporosis, a condition characterized by a decrease in bone mineral density.

In addition to these services, the Imagix clinic in Chomedey provides radiography, musculoskeletal infiltration, ultrasound and digestive radiology services.
