Insomnia treatment

Support program for quality sleep

Do you struggle to fall or stay asleep at night? Do you wake up too early and struggle to fall back asleep?

Does lack of sleep make your days feel long? Did you know that 16.3% of Canadian adults—about 6.5 million people—suffer from insomnia? [1]

With our insomnia treatment, we can help you regain quality sleep.

What is insomnia?

Insomnia can be defined as persistent difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, enjoying restful sleep or having quality sleep, even though the environment and conditions are suitable. Insomnia, one of the most common sleep disorders, results in fatigue and makes it hard to function during the day.

Possible causes of insomnia

  • Stress
  • A psychological disorder or physical health problem
  • Irregular or inadequate sleep habits
  • An irregular work schedule
  • Jet lag
  • Another sleep disorder, such as obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). Between 30% and 50% of people with OSA also have insomnia.

How our insomnia treatment helps you rediscover quality sleep

Our program offers a fast, effective, and scientifically validated approach to reducing the time it takes to fall asleep, limiting nighttime awakenings, and improving sleep quality.

Adopting healthy sleep habits is often an important first step toward better rest. These measures can reduce the impact of certain external factors that disrupt sleep. However, they are not always enough on their own.

That's why we offer additional support through brief behavioral insomnia treatment (BBT-I). This method is based on the principles of cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), which is internationally recognized as the first-line treatment for chronic insomnia.

Andrea, 39
For several years, I have had serious sleep problems. When I consulted, they did a great job explaining the various sleep phases and the problems when things go wrong with those phases. The specialist is very competent in her field and gave us clear information. She was an empathetic listener to our troubles and was actively looking for resources to help us.
Josée, 61
Karine suggested solutions which suited my reality and helped me find tools to improve my sleep routine. I was able to take back control of my nights. I don’t have insomnia or any symptoms of fatigue anymore, and my energy level is back to normal. The consults made a big improvement in my quality of life.
