Caroline Biron becomes Executive Chair of Biron Health Group

Brossard, July 29, 2021 — Biron Health Group (“Biron” or the “Company”) announced today that Caroline Biron has become the sole shareholder of the Company. She succeeds her sister Geneviève Biron, who will pursue new professional projects as of July 29, 2021. Caroline’s arrival as Executive Chair ensures the continuity of the family’s management and values that distinguish Biron in terms of business practices and corporate culture. Caroline intends to pursue the Company’s activities in accordance with the strategic plan currently being implemented, with as much ambition as her predecessors, an ambition that has been instrumental to the Company’s success since its founding.

Effective immediately and for an indefinite period, Jean-François Rioux, Vice-President, Sales and Operations, will serve as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, reporting directly to Caroline Biron.

After 25 years with Biron, including seven years at the helm, Geneviève Biron leaves behind a solid and growing enterprise.
