Who is the treatment for urinary incontinence intended for?

The urinary incontinence treatment service is designed for both men and women, at different times in their lives, for example:

  • After childbirth
  • At menopause
  • As a result of hormonal changes
  • As a result of a weakening of the pelvic muscles
  • In case of recurrent urinary tract infections
  • Following pelvic surgery or prolapse (organ descent)

What happens during a treatment ?

A member of our nursing staff will greet you for an initial consultation and ask you a few questions about your symptoms and medical history.

During this consultation, the treatment protocol will be established in a personalized way and will be explained to you.

Depending on the severity of your symptoms, the treatment can be up to six sessions, administered in the clinic. Each session helps to gradually strengthen the pelvic muscles, for long-lasting and optimal results.

Once the protocol has been explained and according to your agreement, the treatment can start from the first appointment. Allow 50 minutes for the first appointment and 30 minutes for subsequent consultations.

What is the cost of treatment for urinary incontinence?

The cost of an individual session is $300. This rate includes a 20-minute consultation with our nursing staff as well as a 30-minute treatment on the Emsella chair.

A package of 9 sessions at $1800 is also available. This price includes 6 consecutive treatment sessions, followed by 3 additional sessions, which can be used within 3 years of the first treatment.

Costs for treatment may be reimbursed in whole or in part by most private insurance plans. Please check with your insurer beforehand. An official receipt will be given to you at each session.

Good to know before booking

Some conditions may contraindicate treatment (e.g., pregnancy, recent surgery, metal or electronic implants, fever).

An online eligibility questionnaire will allow you to validate these conditions before any session.
