The test that you are about to perform will determine, using a variable positive pressure device, the optimal pressure level necessary to counter respiratory obstructions occurring in the airways and thus control your sleep apnea.
Instructions to follow for the success of your test
Documents to complete
Documents will be given to you when you pick up the device. These must be filled out and returned with the equipment the day after your sleep test
Without these documents, we cannot interpret your results.
Preparing for the test
- Health conditions: If you are suffering from severe nasal congestion or an unusual health condition on the day of your test, it would be preferable to reschedule your appointment by contacting us at 1 866 341-4975](tel:18663414975).
- Nails: A sensor will be placed on the index finger of your non-dominant hand for the duration of the test. This finger must be free of nail polish or false nails.
- Beverages: Avoid coffee, dark carbonated drinks, chocolate and alcohol for six hours before your bedtime.
- Previous results. The results of a diagnostic test carried out in another establishment (private or public) than Biron are necessary for the interpretation of your titration test. You need to bring your results for your appointment.
Depending on the results, additional fees may be added if further tests and/or treatment are indicated.

Delivery of results
The results of your test will be interpreted by one of our pulmonologist and will be available within 10 to 15 business days on MyBiron.
Following your visit to our service centre, you have received an activation code by email to create your MyBiron account. You need this code to create your account.
Depending on the results, additional fees may be added if further tests and/or treatment are indicated.
