Imagix Sainte-Thérèse Radiology Clinic is pleased to announce that it has been named a designated screening centre for the Laurentians region, as part of the Quebec Breast Cancer Screening Program (PQDCS).

In an effort to improve access to mammography screening services, the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) for the Laurentians is adding a seventh service centre in the MRC of Thérèse-De Blainville, to serve the region’s roughly 24,000 female citizens between the ages of 50 and 69.

Established by the Ministère de la Santé et des Services sociaux, the PQDCS aims to reduce breast cancer mortality by encouraging women to have a mammogram every two years.

Women will benefit greatly from taking part in this program, which is essential to maintaining good health.
