COVID-19 tests for travellers to China

Important information

Effective November 30, travellers aged 12 and older departing from Canadian airports need to be fully vaccinated, 14 days prior to departure. Read more

Before choosing your test
  1. Make sure that the type of test, the type of sampling and the time slot chosen meet the requirements of your destination countryr. Details on the website of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China.
  2. Make sure you have your passport on the day of your appointment.

COVID-19 screening

All passengers traveling to China must be tested for COVID-19 by RT-PCR and IgM antibody serology.

Biron's serological test for COVID-19 checks for the presence of total antibodies (IgM and IgG) resulting from past or recent exposure to COVID-19. The test does not detect IgM only.

To book an appointment

  1. Visit the online appointment booking portal.
  2. Select the tests: Screening for COVID-19 (RT-PCR 48h or 24h) and Serological test for COVID-19
  3. Choose a location and time slot.
  4. Indicate your last name, first name, date of birth, cell phone number and email address.
  5. To obtain an attestation of a negative result, request it when you arrive at the point of service on the day of your appointment.
